Helo!
Welcome to the totally in time 3rd blog update of this month! Hooray! Totally in time!
For real though, this blog was delayed because of a small surgery I had to take just a few days ago, and I had nothing prepared for the blog so yeah. It was both laziness and a need to rest.
But anyway, I’m alright now and let's start this!
Today’s features are: Undertale Yellow, Super Secret and Mycopunk!
Spoilers for those topics!
Let’s begin!
Return to the Stars!
This is not a new thing, it’s the rename that Crashed Club will receive after everything is finished!
I got the idea for the name while I was finishing the writing for the story and I ended up really liking it! The second reason why I wanted to change the name is because “Crashed Club” is more outdated than ever now with the updates Miya has done to their story pages. (Not that my fanfiction wasn’t outdated from the start…)
But anyway, I’m still not finished with it, so you will only be seeing it next week or the one after!
As for other website updates, I did more on the secret secret page! You can’t access the page still, but what I can say is: It’s a page full of random and fun things that also includes hints for other secret pages!
Miya helped me with a bit of coding to make the page more fun too, so thanks Miya! By the way, there was a huge update to Mimiya recently, you should definitely check it out!
Also, here’s a Pudd draw with pen and paper by yours truly.
This made me notice that drawing on paper is much easier… but I still suck at it.
Sorry for the poor image quality, my phone is not good at photos.
And that’s about it for the updates related to the website!
First of all, I wanted to drop the previous formats I had for my recommendations. I feel like having structure for them took away from the fun I was having writing them, and also felt a little too professional… so I’m dropping and just doing what I do for the book reviews!
Super Secret
Everybody's Got A Secret
Written by Eon!
(Recommendation by Miya)
Synopsis: Our world is full of secrets. Witches, vampires, zombies and werewolves exist and live among society, but no one knows of their existence because they are kept a secret! Ryan Nam is one of the secret creatures living in society and he lives next door to his childhood friend Emma, who is a normal human. But lately, he has been growing feelings towards her, feelings of love~
Will he be able to confess his love to Emma without being discovered or even before Emma finds someone else?
Super secret is a hysterical Manhwa. So many times I was caught off-guard by the sheer absurdity of some scenes and by the characters' reaction towards said scenes, which are drawn really well by the way. A lot of jokes just land and there's a lot of fun to be had, but the heart of the story is the romance between Emma & Ryan and also their growth as the story goes. Emma being this dense and really reliant on Ryan for a lot of basic needs, while Ryan is very indecisive on his feelings towards Emma. A lot of hijinks and drama also happens between and around them as the story develops which does get a little hard to follow sometimes. Despite being a love story between these two, there’s also a bunch of things going with the supporting cast that is just equally as entertaining as the main story.
That said, I do feel like this manhwa can get a bit confusing sometimes because of all the moving pieces you have to connect at the start and with some characters being drawn a little too similar to others. I had to make a relationship corkboard midway through it just to keep track of this massive spider of characters!
Trust me, this looked way more confusing than what it looks like rn.
But ignoring that and a few parts I had felt were stretched out a bit for padding purposes, this is a REALLY good manhwa you should definitely check it out. Trust me, it’s one of the funniest things you will read in a WHILE! There’s both heart and fun in this story.
And that’s why you should read it!
Score: 5/5! I really enjoyed it!
Undertale but Yellow!
This is an interesting fan game to me.
Undertale Yellow follows the journey of the human that had the yellow soul we see in the original game, so basically, MANY years before Frisk.
We get to see some familiar faces as we follow the same path Frisk followed, but not for long. The fan game actually changes things around and makes you take a whole different path with many new faces and places to see and explore, which I kind of like! If it was just Undertale but again, it would’ve been a little disappointing, I’m glad we got to see more of this huge underground full of monsters.
Dog with the corn in his head.
The graphics and music of this fan game are pretty good and probably the best part of the experience, seeing all the new cool areas, the animations being fluid and the designs being so fun to look at, they nailed it. The writing hasn’t really caught my full investment but it does the job of being a fun adventure through the underground.
Beautiful sprite work.
The battle system is the same as the original game. I think the gameplay is a little too difficult at the start though, enemies start to swing and deal a lot of damage but it’s something manageable. My only gripe with the combat is that… they just didn't use the shooting power of the yellow soul at all? I was hoping to see more different attacks with the incorporation of the soul shooting ability, but that didn’t happen, this is just the red soul painting yellow. Which is such a missed opportunity. I also think that most boss fights are just “wait for the opponent turns to end to win” in the pacifist route, but to be fair that's most of the battles in Undertale as well.
Look guys, its Tenna!
Despite what I said, the game is still good. One of the better fan games out there honestly, everything is so well done and polished to hell and back that it’s kind of impressive it's all made by fans. Does it hit the same highs as the original game? Not really, but it’s a nice way to experience this world through a different perspective. Again though, such a huge missed opportunity on not using the shoot power of the soul, so many of the fights would feel super interactive and better if they were designed with that.
A true cowboy never backs down!
Bugs vs Geometry!
Me and my friends decided to try out the new fun with friends game out there called Mycopunk. If I had to describe the gameplay, I would say it's a mix of Deep Rock Galactic with Helldivers more focused on the looter shooter aspect with Dead Space enemies!
The moment to moment gameplay feels super fluid and very fast paced, standing still is almost a death sentence in this one. The enemies are these ball looking things that spawn with arms and weapons, killing the core effectively kills the enemy, but not the threat. Their weapons will be laying around for other enemies to pick up and add to themselves and things can quickly get out of control if you don't destroy the weapons too.
Good luck figuring out what's happening there!
I really liked this mechanic of enemies picking up and absorbing other weapons laying around, it puts you in a tough position where you have to decide “should I destroy the core and kill him or destroy the weapon and deal with the core later?”
It’s fun and with 4 players, things can get super chaotic.
Aside from all that, the game looks super unique, the OST is a banger and the audio design is super good. My only gripe with the game is that there’s not a lot of mission types and maps, so things kind of get repetitive after a while. You also are level gated and have to spend a lot of time to unlock more than 4 weapons at the start, which kinda sucks.
Everyone stop! Time to dance!
Either way, fun games that you should check out with friends!
Rimming in Space!
To no one’s surprise, Rimworld has consumed most of my free time.
I finally got to see the content that the Odyssey DLC has to offer and oh man it’s so much bigger than I expected!
Raid at the mech hive!
Full world exploration, MANY places with landmarks full of new things to find and even space exploration! Exploring and resource collecting never felt this fun and refreshing EVER.
I kind of don’t have much more to say than that. This DLC took the caravan concept and expanded to the next level, flying around with a ship to anywhere in the world completely changes this game and I’m just having way too much fun!
Some space mining operation!
Floating Points by Alistair Lindsay!
Rimworld’s soundtrack is a masterpiece period. The DLCs also add more songs to the OST, so it’s something I always look forward to seeing in a new Rimworld DLC!
When I was doing my first expedition to space, I decided to go explore some ruins of a long gone space station. Aside from some scavengers, there was basically no life left in this once lively place in space. Only the skeletons of the dead and rooms with some pocket oxygen remained.
While I was exploring this place, this song started playing… and the only thing I could think of was the sadness of that place. Made me think about the people who lived there. Where did they go? How did everything go wrong? Are they… even alive to tell their story? This melancholic feeling of exploring this place no longer fit for human life really made me emotional.
I think that’s phenomenal work by the composer, they were able to invoke all these stories in my brain that I otherwise would’ve never given much thought to. This song might be my all time favorite of the entire soundtrack itself actually.
And that’s everything for today~
Again, apologies for the delay on this one, a lot was going on.
I hope you enjoyed reading!
Thank you for reading too!
See you next month, Internet Traveller!
Have a nice day!

Helo!
We have a smaller blog update this time around!
Today’s features are: Sonic Adventure, PVZ 2 Reflourished and Rimworld (not yet) Odyssey!
Spoilers for those topics!
Let’s begin!
It’s Getting Dry Here…
Nothing was added since last, Just the usual maintenance.
I was very busy with a lot of work related work for the past few days, so I had very little time to work on Crashed Club, but I did make some amount of progress on it! The writing part is about 80% done~
At least writing it for the first time, I still need to look through it and all that. Then there's the graphics part, then coding… a lot of work but it's doable for this month still.
As of writing this, I managed to solve all the work work I had to do, so now it's time for Crashed Club work!
Anyways, here something I have spent a week trying to make:
The Legend…?
Probably my most ambitious drawing ever that… ended up fine? I don’t know honestly, drawing is really hard. But I gave it a good attempt?
I want to give a big thanks to Aru and Miya for teaching me a lot of things while I struggled making this thing. They are the real and really good artists here, go check out their websites by clicking their names!
Mimiya just had a update btw, you should check it out!!!
For a bit of context on this drawing I did, I had this image of the hero’s looking at the deltarune and their shadows reflecting their fates on the ground ever since I heard the song “The Legend…?”. So I decided to put into paper (or screen in this case) this image in my head and try to not give up on this one because it was too hard… and that’s the final result!
I don’t know if that’s good or not, really can’t tell but I learned a lot.
Sonic Journey!
Sonic Adventure End!
So I finished the game… the first few steps for 3D Sonic were a bit rough ay?
Alright, let me first address that my sentiment towards Sonic Adventure has changed a bit since last time. Now that I finished the game, I was able to appreciate a lot more things about it… but there’s still a lot of questionable things.
Whoa - By Amy
I enjoyed Amy and Gamma’s play styles, they were a nice spin on the usual Sonic gotta go fast style. Amy having a hammer to bounce while at top speed and Gamma having a laser that basically kills everything on sight, mechanics that were fun to play with.
But then there’s Big and Knuckles’ play styles which are FISHING and treasure hunting respectively. Both were not fun AT ALL. Treasure hunting was not fun and kind of broken, while fishing was not, kind of broken and slowed the game to a crawl. At least the Super Sonic campaign was cool.
Frog and the Big.
The OST is a bit weird as well, there’s some really good songs there but also ones that really felt intrusive to the scene they appeared in or were just background noise. But what I think is the best part of this game is definitely the story. I was surprised how deep (at least for that era) it went and how developed Chaos actually is. Being more of an entity that went out of control than just pure evil.
The CGs are pretty cool for the game.
Overall, this game is not amazing but also not terrible, it’s right in the middle of the spectrum. With a little bias towards the good side because the song did a lot of heavy lifting.
Those are my final thoughts!
Here’s how the list looks right now:
Gold means beaten since last time.
I’m interested to see what Sonic Adventure 2 has to offer, I heard it's pretty good.
But hey, at least I can look at this and say:
All's well that ends well!
Reflorished Plants VS Decayshed(?) Zombies!
Have you ever wanted to experience Plants Vs Zombies 2 but felt overwhelmed by pvp and level up mechanics that didn’t feel right to be in a PVZ game? Do you want to experience PVZ 2 without those microtransaction problems? Have you tried modded PVZ 2 but found a lot of them are just insanely hard and not for you?
Then oh boy do I have the mod for you!
Invasion of the flying zombies!
Plants Vs Zombies 2 Reflourished is a mod for PVZ 2 that aims to give a vanilla-like experience of the game while focusing on creating new engaging content and removing all those predatory mechanics such as Arena and levels. Basically, if Popcap focused on creating new worlds, plants and mechanics instead of milking their players dry for money while making the game worse.
And here’s the best part, you don’t need to pay for ANYTHING! The mod is free, all the cosmetics for plants and the plants themselves you can get through playing the game!
Why am I suddenly making an ad for this mod? Well, because I recently got back into it!
I played it when it was first released many years ago and thought it was a really great mod.
This strat fell apart at the end…
PVZ 2 mods never appealed to me because they always focused on changing the game to something it was not/ or made it insanely hard. I wanted a casual, vanilla-like experience and this mod delivered exactly that. All the plants and zombies here are just rebalanced to encourage variety on your lawn. I 100% recommend this if you ever wanted to check out PVZ 2, PLEASE ITS REALLY GOOD!!!!!!!
Anyhow, I’m currently playing through the mod from start to finish. I can’t wait to see all the new content they added over the years that I didn't play it. I’m currently in the Dark Ages world, having lots of fun trying out many strategies!
Rimworld DLC IS HERE OH MY GOD!!!
Rimworld DLC: Odyssey has been released and-- huh? did you hear that?
I think that was the sound of all my free time running away…
Okay, I have not engaged with the “making a ship and exploring space” part of the DLC yet. I know, that’s the main mechanic and feature added with it, but I want to be prepared before doing that part of the DLC. But I have been enjoying the content outside of the main feature, such as the new animals and fishing! I love that birds can just fly over walls, its very cool!
For this playthrough, I decided to pick the Rich Explorer scenario, basically you start with only 1 pawn (instead of the 3 from the normal scenario) but they have a lot of supplies that can last for many days.
Image beforte the ship goes to space
The main struggle of this scenario is getting settled. Having one pawn means you can only do one thing at a time, so you need to prioritize things over others, for example: You have to prioritize hunting for food over researching better equipment or maybe even prettying up your base.
Well, it’s a struggle until you can recruit 2 other pawns, then things begin to stabilize.
Fun fact about that actually, my first attempt on this scenario ended because the 2 pawns I accepted to help my base ended up being spies for other factions that stole a lot of valuable things under my nose… really poor luck in the early game. After these back-to-back losses, I just decided to start over on a new world.
My main objective for this playthrough is to make a full circle around the world and then return home! Stopping for supplies, recruiting more pawns along the way and checking out all the new content this game has to offer.
Image still before the ship goes to space but some time later
I decided to call my faction: The Starcruiser
Now if you excuse me, I have a 6+ hour session of Rimworld to get to.
A new song from TAK dropped just before the blog update (this happens often huh), so you know what’s next!
Bavaroa by TAK!
As I said all the time I recommended a TAK song here, they just never miss on making amazing and catchy songs, no matter if it’s K-pop or Miku, they just never miss!
On another note, it's funny how we have 3 TAK Miku songs about food and just one about her being a parasocial maniac. The whiplash is INSANE!
That's all for today.
Thank you for reading!
See you next time, Internet Traveller!
Have a nice day!
05/07/2025
Helo!
We have reached the halfway mark of the year!
Man, kind of crazy that it has been 6 months already…
Anyways, let’s get into this blog update!
Today’s Features are: Rimworld, Ribbit and ICEY!
Spoilers for those topics!
Let’s begin!
Work In Progress Stuff!
Quite a bit of stuff is being currently worked on!
Crashed Club is almost finished in the writing department, I just need to go over the entire thing to fix grammar and weird sentences + write some flavor text for a few days. Then move on to making the graphics, setting up everything in the page and all that… Okay, still quite a lot of work left but I’m gonna get it done this month for sure!
For actual additions to the website, we got the usual maintenance stuff and the surprise addition of a whole new dream to the dream side page! After a year+ of nothing, that page was finally updated with a new entry. You can check it out by Clicking Here!
I guess I should also talk about the reason why I never really updated that page with new entries… It’s not because I haven’t been dreaming as much, no, in fact I have been dreaming way too much as of recently! The reason is that not many of these dreams gave me enough motivation to appeal to put them on the website. And that’s the reason! Yup, that’s the simple reason! If I get more weird dreams like that one, I’ll make sure to add it.
Something that was changed that I’m not so sure people noticed is the new overlay for social media posts for the blog update images! I decided to go for a more compact and cool overlay, but I plan on doing a visual refresh every year for it. You can think of it as “Seasons” for the blog update that are too long and have way too much to read!
Lastly, we have the removal of the Deltarune theme for the home page!
…
It’s not actually removed, it was just hidden. If you want to access it again, just find the secret page that tells you how to do it! Or I guess look through the page code in the home page, whichever you feel like it.
Being halfway through the year, this is probably the best time to look back at the goals I set for myself and see how much things have changed/ done/ in progress.
This was all that I said I was going to do for this year.
Let’s start with the currently in progress stuff:
Big 4 RPGs - I’m done with 2 out of the 4 big RPGs I wanted to play this year, so that’s going well!
Sonic Journey (Sponsored by Miya) - I started that in April, so things are moving.
Now for the other stuff…
The Chie arc for Phoenix Club is going to happen, I got a lot of cool ideas for it over these few months. I wanna start doing that at the end of August.
Legend of Dreams is currently on standby, I got some writing done but I’m currently thinking on how I want to approach it. Basically, it’s on hiatus for now.
And the big one in the middle which I had no hope of ever achieving in the first place… the small game I wanted to make called Phoenix Quest Mini.
Making a game is a colossal task, so from the start I had zero expectations of doing it this year. That’s not to say I have no good ideas for it, I got a lot of cool ones I want to try out. Making a game is a lot of work though, so I made the decision to replace that goal with something else: The 2.0 Version of the Website!
An equally colossal task that I already did.
So here’s how the image should look right now:
These are all my goals for the second half of the year! Changing plans is natural!
Anomalous Rimming!
I finally reached the end of the anomaly content in Rimworld!
After making a super cyborg and a killer ghoul (that didn’t live for too long), I decided to go all in the Anomaly DLC content to reach the ending. A year late… better late than never!
To get the Anomaly ending, you need to level up the void monolith. To do that, you need to provoke the void and fill up the entity codex for these creepy creatures. After seeing enough of a certain tier, you can awaken the monolith to the final level (there’s only 3 levels) and face the final challenge…
When the monolith begins level 3, your base will be invaded by all kinds of anomalies all around the world. During this stage, you have to survive and deactivate creepy pillars that fell nearby on your base.
This is my base before the level 3 monolith.
After that's done, stage 2 starts with more types of anomalies, more pillars appear to deactivate and the unnatural darkness kicks in. Anyone that spends too long in darkness will be attacked by invisible creatures. The objective is the same as stage 1, navigate through the darkness and deactivate the pillars.
These stages are a stressful gauntlet that will test your defenses, resources, management capabilities and will use up all your resources!
I had a pretty fortified base with turrets all around the place. Despite that, I had my walls breached and pretty much all my turrets destroyed. I even had to use all the goodwill I worked up to get with all other factions.
Look at the mess this became!
Passing through stage 2 will take you to the finale, accessing the world beyond the portal. Sending a pawn to investigate the monolith will teleport them to the massive computer responsible for all anomalies.
There you can choose to deactivate the machine and forever erase all the anomalies from this world… or connect to the machine and give your pawn unnatural powers.
Whichever you pick, the game plays the ending credits.
All Rimworld endings that I have played so far were super intense and always tested my abilities to micro manage everything and also my ability to keep track of time (I spent 6 hours doing the ending sequence and I didn't even notice it!), so it was quite fun!
This is my base after everything happened.
As for the anomaly content, I liked a lot of the anomalies in the game, they bring a unique threat to your colonies that can be replicated by the common mech/ raiders. I loved pretty much all the fleshbeasts events, unnatural darkness forcing you to light up areas to traverse them was fun and the Nociosphere was awesome to send to destroy enemies and terrifying when I had to put all on my pawns on the run when it attacked me.
But there's some stinkers in this collection, I thought the blood rain and metalhorrors are super annoying to deal with and chimeras and some of the obelisks are just there.
Overall I really liked all the new content this dlc brought, there's a lot of fun rituals, creepy monsters to fight and things to exploit. But I will curate my experience with mods because I REALLY didnt like blood rain and metalhorros…
Portal to the abyss...
I can't wait for the next DLC they are making that is COMING OUT IN LESS THAN WEEK FROM!?!?!?!? SEND HELP, I WILL NEVER ESCAPE THIS GAME!!!!
Shitpost (Depression?) As a Frog!
Miya forced me to play a popular Deltarune Chapter 1 mod called Ribbit!
You play as a frog instead of Kris in this mode and from the very start the game lets you know that it's a hilarious shitpost completely disconnected from Deltarune.
If I were to describe this mod in a sentence, I would say: “Toby Fox type of design where every room has a fun and new thing to do, but cranked up to the eleven and wild.”
It’s a shitpost, a very funny one with a… surprising level of polish? The effort for this mod is through the roof! I have never seen a shitpost like this that has so many custom dialogue, graphics, animations, gimmicks and super high quality overall!
Buffed robot Lancer is disturbing.
I had a lot of fun playing this while streaming to Miya on Discord. Well, I had fun for 3/4s of the mod…
During the final part of the mod, there’s a sudden shift in focus where all the jokes pretty much stop to develop this weird deep story. I would try to explain it to you but I didn’t even understand it fully. The mod tried really hard to be super deep and thoughtful with a lot of wordy dialogue that went on and on for minutes.
The transition between the shitposts and this sudden deep story did NOT land at ALL.
Don’t get me wrong, it's all high quality still, but there’s a balance to be achieved with this type of design. You can’t flip a switch on the play all of sudden with very little build up and force them to read paragraph after paragraph when the past 6 hours was HAHA FUNNY IMAGE ON SCREEN LOL!
BRUH
Me and Miya took about 4 days to get through this mod, and that last day was super confusing and not fun at all. But I heard from Miya that the mod maker is gonna dial that deep stuff back to only on a second playthrough, which is good. This mod was at its best when it was wacky and funny.
I would recommend you to play it when that update drops… or you could just play up to the card castle section and stop there. It’s really funny and fun, just don't ever leave the prison on the castle!
Best zone yeah.
ICEY a Really Good 2D Action Game!
ICEY is a really well made 2d action game with such a weird twist!
The game suddenly turns into a metanarrative with a narrator that describes the things you must do to progress. Not doing what he says leads to secret areas that have interactions and commentary from the narrator. Usually it’s him being pissy at you for not listening and lecturing you about how much he worked to make this game for you with some lore stuff sprinkled at the end.
Secrets like this unfinished area.
I find this super interesting because the game is really solid outside of this narrative thing. The 2D action is super fluid, difficult and the combos you can pull off makes you feel super cool. It’s probably the best game of this genre that I ever played. Now put that on a game that has a kind of silly meta narrative like this?
I’m not saying that it’s bad, I had a lot of fun with it. I just had a lot of whiplash from this.
I definitely recommend this game!
You even play a whole different game in one of the secrets!
Sonic Journey Recontinues!
Deltarune paused this for a month but now I’m back at it again!
With:
Sonic Adventure!
Oh boy this game…
What was the quote again about 3D Sonic games?
You know all the fears last year about Super Mario 64, that the game was super janking and a dated game to play that would not be much fun to play now. That ended up not being real. The game was fun to play and didn’t age too bad…
Sonic Adventure is the same thing, BUT EVERYTHING IS TRUE INSTEAD!
Running around in the pace of normal.
This game had a very difficult camera to control and it was VERY buggy. Heck, the game has conditioned me to NEVER EVER spin dash in a SONIC GAME because I know 100% I’m going to quickly lose control and fly off a cliff by jank.
But I think all save most of the things I want to say about it for next time when I actually finished the game. This entry in the franchise has multiple campaigns with many playable characters, so I’m gonna complete the 4 other campaigns before I say more. (I have only done Sonic and Tails’ ones)
First impressions so far are uh… not good! I did have fun with Sonic & Tails stages, the story is interesting and the voice acting is funny… but Miya saying to me that I was done with the fun parts of the game is not reassuring at all.
I love airplane stages where I do nothing but hold one button...
This is the list right now:
Blue means I'm currently playing.
Vapor Buster by Toby Fox!
One of my big wishes for chapter 3 & 4 was for a new battle theme/ remix of Rude Buster. Not only we got a whole new battle theme, BUT WE ALSO GOT 2 REMIXES OF RUDE BUSTER! THAT 'S CRAZY!!!
I love From Now On, but I’ll pick Vapor Buster first in honor of the chapter 1 weird mod I played!
And that’s everything for this blog update!
A bit of a lengthy one, I’m trying to keep these shorter and usually around 1.5k - 2.5k words because it does get tiring reading all of this. But this one had to be on the longer side, I had to address the year plans situation that was very calm and not crazy.
Thank you for reading!
See you next time, Internet Traveller!
Have a nice day!
